Diesel Mechanic
Work involves performance of varied repairs of all types of diesel-powered heavy construction equipment. Work also includes repairing of automotive gasoline powered equipment. Although work is normally performed under general supervision of a foreman, employees must employ independent judgment and resourcefulness in performing mechanical repair work, especially when repairs are made in the field. Work is reviewed through the proper functioning and performance of equipment repaired. Entry level to experienced applicants welcome.
Equipment Operator
Entry Level Operator
Entry level operators for our dirt crew will be responsible for operating heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner such as sheepsfoot, roller, haul trucks, tractor with pull type pan, and other heavy highway equipment. They will be responsible for performing daily routine maintenance on equipment. Must be able to work as a team and perform work in rhythm with others. Responsibilities may include performing general labor duties when not operating a piece of equipment.

Excavator Operators
Excavator Operator for our utility crew is responsible for operating the excavator in a safe and appropriate manner. They will be responsible for digging trenches for utility installation, bridge/culvert installation, and various assigned task. When not operating the excavator they may also be responsible for operating payloaders, skidloaders, road saws, dozers, graders, and other pieces of equipment. They will also performing general labor duties when not operating a piece of equipment. General labor duties when not operating to include, but not limited to lifting, using pry bars, hand tools, shoveling. Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations and level earth to grade specifications using shovels, picks, and rakes.
