Experienced Equipment Operator
Celina, Ohio
VTF Excavation is seeking an Experienced Earthwork Operator to join our crew on the mass excavation side of our operation. VTF Excavation is located in Celina, OH. This role is ideal for someone who knows job sites, understands grading and excavation work, and is comfortable taking on other roles as needed.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are not hiring entry-level for this position. The right candidate will bring:

3–5+ years of hands-on earthwork and/or excavation experience

Strong understanding of job site safety, grading, trenching, and general site preparation

Experience with GPS, lasers, and basic understanding of blueprints
-
Ability to work efficiently as part of a crew and take direction from foremen
-
Willingness to perform physical labor when needed in various weather conditions

Equipment operating experience preferred (excavator, dozer, haul truck, pan, compaction equipment, etc.)

CDL Class A preferred — however we do offer in-house CDL training
JOB DESCRIPTION

Perform site preparation, mass excavation, compaction, and final grading

Operate equipment and perform routine daily maintenance (greasing, fueling, etc.)

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site

Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors
