Sidney CBT Company
Sidney, Ohio
THE PLAN
The CBT Company – New Sidney Facility project was planned to support the construction of a new industrial facility through comprehensive site development and utility installation. As a subcontractor of the project, VTF Excavation focused on preparing a stable building pad, improving site access and drainage, and installing underground utilities to support long-term operational needs.
THE WORK
Construction was completed in two phases during 2025. Site grading was performed in August to prepare 24,375 SF of building pad, 58,130 SF of asphalt drives and parking, and 10,400 SF of stormwater retention, which also generated fill material for the site. Underground utility work followed in October and included installation of storm and sanitary sewer, as well as fire suppression and domestic water services into the building.
Over 10,200 cubic yards of material were moved and 3,840 tons of stone were placed across the 4.5-acre site. The work progressed efficiently with favorable conditions, precise coordination, and consistent quality control, allowing the project to remain on schedule.
THE RESULTS
The project was completed on time and provided a fully prepared, construction-ready site to support CBT Company’s next phase of development. With zero safety incidents and efficient execution from start to finish, the project demonstrates VTF Excavation’s ability to deliver high-quality site and utility work for private industrial clients.
